Yay! I'm so excited to see that you got my message! =) My profile is not current at all and I have some updating to do. haha. Everything there is from 3 years ago! I just logged back in yesterday because I've been seeing some positive things about Gaia recently. Most of my friends stopped using it years ago and I was always so busy with college and working that I eventually lost interest. But I was feeling nostalgic and decided that it might be worth coming back to see if there was still anyone around! I was worried that you might not have been since most of the comments on your profile were from a few years ago. I'm happy to see that my worries were for nothing! biggrin
I'm currently reading Robin Hobb. I started off with her Assassin's trilogy that kept me hooked until the end. Currently I'm reading Ship of Destiny. The third book in her second trilogy set in the same world. It's about traders who have special "liveships" that they imbue with the memories of their ancestors. The ship is linked to their family and becomes a living thing after it absorbs the memories of three family members (usually at their death, after a long and happy life). There are some fantastic and strong female characters and I can't get enough of it!
Grad school? That's super exciting! I can't wait to hear more about it! I'll share more with you later, but I'm currently teaching English abroad in Italy! It's been so cold recently that I've been staying in and catching up on all of my reading. Honestly it's difficult to keep up with it sometimes, but it's extremely enjoyable (as I know you know 3nodding) I should be out traveling and profiting during my time here, but there is always extreme appeal in curling up with a good book heart Even though you haven't been reading much recently, is there something you've read recently that you really enjoyed? I'd love to hear about it. =) Talk to you soon!
Hi! I don't know if you'll ever get this, but I just logged back in today for the first time in forever. If you're still around it would be nice to catch up! Life has been crazy. Hope to hear from you soon =) I'll be checking in more frequently than I used to!
Thank You for buying! heart You have your PM's set to friends only so I couldn't respond to it. The Pendant is now an Alchemy craftable item with the formula from the new Enki drops & the components from Enki's catch.
I'm great! Comment-allez vous? and school is fine, just a little stressful at times. Right now I'm reading Hamlet (finishing it tomorrow), Macbeth, Michael Vey: The Prisoner of Cell 25, and A Prayer for Owen Meany. Hamlet and A Prayer are required for English. I'm just reading Macbeth for fun! lol. I am highly anticipating when I get the final Eragon book! hopefully very soon. I haven't been on so much because I've been working a lot. I now hold down a job at McDonalds. And also I just finished Marching Band which took a lot of time. And now I have college applications to complete. I've been extremely busy. I wouldn't have a job if I didn't have to pay for my trip. I'm going to England and France over the summer in July. I'M SO EXCITED!
College. I'm still trying to figure out where I'm going to go. Which college are you going to? Are you having fun even if it isn't the same as being home schooled?
Yes I have seen a few actually. I read the books because someone recommended them to me (this was before they were extremely popular) so I did. Then I saw part 2 and part 3. That's it. But yeah, the special effects are pretty awesome. And I have no clue how they did that. Have you read Meyer's other book The Host ? I like that one so much better.
