dear gaia,
i know that someday we will head our separate ways. im not sure if thats going to be because i really did just not log in anymore, or sadly you saw your last days on the internet. but whatever the reason is, i hope you know i appreciate all the years you have given me a place to go when i needed it most. as im writing this, its been a little over a month since my 14 year anniversary on this site, which is crazy to say the least. back in 08 when i joined, i had no idea how much this site would come to mean to me. i would spend hours on this site in middle school, and i have made so many real connections off this site. thank you for the countless hours playing dress up that led to nothing more than avis that looked like everyone elses. thank you for rally. thank you for zOMG. thank you for the community thats way more tolerable than any other social media ive encountered. it's truly been real. if one day i really am logging in for the last time, i cant explain how much it will actually pain me when i find out that it was the last time. i spent a majority of my childhood moving around, so i never really had friends growing up until i found gaia. thank you for giving me a place to go and escape reality so easily.
