I felt so bad for Violet after seeing her backstory in detail. At first I didn't understand why she wanted to know what 'I love you' meant. But now that I know how she was treated all her life, of course she wouldn't know what love was. Even though she was obsessed with Major Gilbert, Violet was kind in her own way to everyone she helped out. I appreciated that. 3nodding

I just finished watching Violet Evergarden today. It really tugged at my heartstrings the whole time. crying
I appreciated how Violet slowly grew throughout the series and how her backstory explained why she was emotionless at first. I can't wait to see more of that series in the future if more episodes are ever made. 3nodding
