I guess they looked really fake to me when I was at the age of 8. I can't remember the names of them anymore- Britt sounds familiar. Mom used to watch a lot of these justice and lawyer talkshow things.
On another note: I have no doubt American talkshows are 100% fake indeed. lol
The French language I don't mind, but I have heard that French people can be quite arogant. :c
It's sort of a mix between trauma and living near the German border, and just the sound of it.
Cause, when I was young, I wanted to watch TV when I came out of school cause my favourite shows were playing. But then I would find my mom in front of the telly watching German talk shows. They were all fake and put in scene and they were repeated every other month. Also, she had been watching TV for the whole afternoon and I'd miss new episodes. Frustration on that part.
Living near the border results in thousands of Germans visiting our city on Saturdays. So everywhere you turn you hear German. Even Dutch shop keepers address you in that language and you're just like: Wtf, I'm Dutch dude!
The third reason is just the sound of it, especially with al the ch-sounds and use of words compared to my native language.
On another note, I don't hate Germans- just the language. And German mayonaise. XD
