I'm just a gourd-like squash trying to make it through life. Hopefully, while keeping my carved on smile as sincere as possible.

I went trick or treating and was given a stunning poem by Stella Meowris~
(on October 3rd 2009)

The Great Pumpkin rises from the patch
and looks for a kid who is not a jerk
meanwhile back in the office, natch,
The Pumpkin does the paperwork.

One fairly sincere child waited for years
alone in the pumpkin patch, all full of fears:
"if he doesn't come this year I'll burst into tears."

The Pumpkin takes pity and figures, "I'll do."
and thinks, "I'm not Great, but then neither are you."
But the child takes one look and cries, "boo hoo hoo!"

The Great Pumpkin rises in some other patch
where only the very sincerest kids lurk
and back at the office, lifting the latch,
The Pumpkin goes back to the ol' paperwork.
