Hey, Hola, Bonjour

I'm a sophomore at SHS, 16 years young, name's Kailynn, brought into this world in August of 94'. Right now a lot in my life is changing, my sis is going to college, friends are moving, I'm getting a lot taller, trying new things, etc. I'm pretty much content where I am I think though. Just waiting to find the right guy and looking forward to figuring out what I'm gonna do when I'm older. If you ever want to talk about life or anything I can try to give advice, or just listen if that's all you need. I never ask for anything from anyone in return, just a thank you is fine. I'm a real good listener too.

If something's wrong with one of my close friends I am more than willing to do something about it, and take a stand. I'm not going to sit back and watch one of my friends be hurt. That's just how I am.

I've learned that it doesn't matter what others think of me and that I can't be everyone's friend. Some things are the way they are just because, and may never change. I feel very lucky for what I have, and that I haven't had many misfortunes like others.

A speaker recently came to my school and touched me with her words. She had 9 children, 6 boys & 3 girls. Her oldest son was killed along with a friend from a drunk driver, her youngest son was killed jogging on his way home, just under a mile away, by a drunk driver. I have come to the conclusion it's never worth it, drinking even one drink then driving is dangerous. Just don't do it. I personally have never drank, or smoked, and don't plan on it. It is your choice though to pick the right thing to do, and hopefully you pick the right one. I'm not going to try and lecture anyone about this the whole time, just please think before hand if you decide to drink and don't take away an innocent life that could have easily been avoided if you would have thought ahead and not drivin.

So if you ever feel like talking just give me something interesting to chat about, debate, or whatever else is on your mind. It's definitely better to let things out then to hold everything in.
