First of all, I will be sporadically available due to medical issues so have called a halt to any activities I have had lately. I do apologize and appreciate all the kind words and comments, yet it must be this way for a while. Alright, end of interrruption and back to my "About m" ...I write, I teach, and I enjoy and edit good stories. This is what I do for a living and no ... I am no child.
I like to exercise a great deal and do just that quite often. Weight training, running and weapons training with old fashioned medieval weapons (real great workout but quite impractical from a real world combat perspective) and armor are just a few of the things I like to do.
My advice to writers: Take a picture of your mind. Use the backs of your eyes as the lenses and film and the rest of your senses as filters to listen, touch, taste, smell, see, feel, and express your scene, characters and dialogue. Take that picture and draw it with your words on paper. Let language be your paint and ink or pencil be your brush. Paint the picture from start to finish as a sum of parts that equals a whole. In this way, both the emotion and imagery come together and come to life in what you create. Don't be surprised if it smells differently a different day or indeed disappears. That is the way of things.
I hope this indeed makes sense to those of you who see it.

I don't understand much of poetry, but I have a desire to learn... unfortunately I really lacked in paying attention in English class. HAHA
