I've been good!
One of my cats has been off for the past few days, though, and I'm not sure what to do if he doesn't get back to normal soon, I can't afford to take him to a vet here in the city, they're so expensive...
But in better news, I got commissioned by someone my beau works with to make a doll for them!
I'm so excited, it's super flattering to have someone think well enough of stuff I've done to actually ask me for something, haha~
Other than dealing with a shite roomie, what have you been up to lately, are classes going well?
Isn't the housing department always staffed by idiots? I tried to move to a different room because I couldn't afford a double (and wanted to trade up to better roomies) and I wasn't allowed unless I could find someone to fill my place in my old room, so lame. Hope they're good to you, though!
They broke one of my ceramic soup spoons a while back (no terrible loss on that, I have one left still and can just go buy another for a couple dollars), and they broke my favorite plate this morning, I was so mad about that, I can't just replace that one, it was a gift from my mom a few years ago and I think she got it second hand, too. I'll have to wait for Halloween to come around again before I can even consider buying a different cheesy black cat plate to take its place. ;w;
Uwa, really?! They're my favorites! RotG doesn't really have any teary scenes (though there might be some where you wanna slap a character silly), and the voice cast is absolutely amazing (plus Guillermo del Toro is among the production cast, an added bonus!). You'll definitely have to be prepared for tears in BH6, though; I still cry at certain parts and I've watched it dozens of times now. >>;
I'm soooo close to having them all finished, I just need to sew this one together (my beau said he's Donatello, I think? I have Mikey and Raph finished already, Raph is standing in front of the monitor staring at me currently, haha~) and make one more and I'll be DONE. And then I can figure out how to get them to my mum and if I'll be going down to give them to my cousin myself (my mum wants me to, she says he's gonna flip over these guys).
I'll send you a picture of the gang once they're all together! Hopefully by about the end of the month the last one will be done up.
My tablet is ooooold. Like, over a decade old. It's not so much that the tablet itself won't work (it will, I can plug it in and the pen moves the mouse cursor like it should), but that the software that's supposed to make it run properly (and by that I mean the pressure sensitivity that lets me draw digitally just like drawing physically) got broken at some point and since my tablet is 'obsolete' the company doesn't give half a ******** about it. I might have been able to get it to work by using an older version of the software, but by the fifth attempt of trying to make it work I was so frustrated I could hardly think straight.
Good news on that front, though. My beau is the best ever and used some of his tax refund to buy a new tablet for me~ I've been holding off on playing with it, though, because if I start playing with it, I'll not stop and not finish the turtles when I want them be done. I have too many drawing ideas backlogged from my neglect on art. >>;
Really~ There's a Friday the thirteenth (the only one for 2016, actually) coming up in a few months and we (okay, really just me, I'm weird like that) want that to be the date, haha~ we're not gonna have a real wedding, though, sorry. ^^; We've never wanted anything big (can't afford the 'real deal' sort of thing, anyway), just to go get the marriage license, maybe go out to dinner with our parents or something afterward. But If I do go pick up nice clothes to wear for that day, I'll be sure to take pics. c:

Things have been well enough.
My cats are utter brats and have been breaking my things lately and just overall making a mess and getting into crap they shouldn't at the worst hours.
Mostly I've just been binging a couple movies (my beau is probably utterly sick of Big Hero 6 and Rise of the Guardians by this point) and working on amigurumi TMNT (still).
Working way too hard on them, actually, my hands are suffering, whoops. >>;
I had intended to take a break from them recently and see if I was any good at drawing still, but my digital tablet doesn't work anymore, so I spent a night completely angry and almost in tears over it.
Oh, you might like to know (and will be the first person I've told), I might be getting married soon! (Assuming all goes well, at least, haha~)
