About

Hmm, what is there to say about me... Well, I tend to be socially awkward, especially when it comes to initiating conversations with people. I usually wait for the other person to come to me because I have issues when it comes to rejection.. but who doesn't? Well, some people don't care about being rejected, but they're just freaks.
When and if you get to know me, I am quite fun and humorous to be around (or to talk to). I say quite random things most times since my mind is a jumbled mess. I am also the pervert type, but in a ha-ha way, not in the 'I sniff your hair while you're sleeping' way. I like when I'm able to meet a person that I can take jabs at in a playful way and they take jabs at me as well, life is just a lot more interesting that way. I enjoy quick-witted beings who are obviously quick on their toes. I like spontaneity, but at the same time I hate change - especially if the change revolves around my constant.
I find that a lot of things entertain me in life, anywhere from reading, drawing, painting, playing video games, traveling, watching movies down to little stupid things like moss. I LOVE MOSS. I have this weird obsession with it, and I will point it out when I see it, maybe even try to touch it. Don't you just love soft moss? Anyhow... I also enjoy messed up crap like gore, blood, death, murder, anything grotesque. I also like fantasy-related things, and I actually recommend Terry Pratchett's Discworld series if you want a humorous read.
And that's about it... At least I think it is.. By the way, did you notice that I said 'also' a lot? I find that funny, good ol' repetition. Oh, I'm also obsessive-compulsive and suffer from major depressive episodes... Now THAT is it.

Till next time,
Tschau,
- The Bookie Monster.

I'm interested to know what else I can learn about The Rape of the Lock. You would think that I would be sick of learning about this poem, after doing it about 4 times, but I cannot wait to learn more. Oh, and I'm currently watching the last episode of Dragonball! biggrin

It certainly strikes me as an original story, which is important, and very good! I'm not sure when I'll get to read the books I like though. My reading load might be lighter, but it still makes me wonder when I'll get the time. And my Pope class is going to start the Rape of the Lock on Friday! So excited! biggrin

They are by Laura Levine, and they are mysteries with a "private-eye" named Jaine Austen, who has a cat named Prozac. Jaine always seems to get mixed up in things. I like them because they are funny, surprising and I never get tired of reading the 2 books I already own. The one I want is called, "This Pen for Hire." Jaine is also a writer, so I'm interested to see how she is introduced.

Being productive is always good. Perhaps I will buy that book sometime soon. It's the first in the series I like, and it's only going to cost me $6.50. razz Not a huge price for a book.

I'm like the female human version of Mr. Krabs. There is this book on amazon.ca that I've been wanting for a long time, and it's only 1 cent, plus $6.49 shipping. That's the cheapest I will ever get that book, yet I still haven't bought it. razz

I would probably never spend it. I was hard enough for me to spend 8 dollars on 4 boxes of oatmeal today. razz
