Biography

You've made it to my autobiographical blurb! You must be really curious about me if you're bothering to read this. So hi! I'm flattered you're putting the effort in to read this. Although it's probably going to be incredibly awkward and not be helpful at all if you're trying to learn what I'm all about. But since you're here and since I'm obviously writing this up for you to read, feel free to learn about me, at least to some degree.

For those of you that don't know me personally, my name is Kirsten. But, as I'm aware that some people aren't comfy with using real names on Gaia, feel free to come up with a nickname for me. Vermi's the most common but any variation's fine as long as I can figure out that you are, in fact, referring to me. I've had a friend refer to me as Midi and I was exceptionally confused.

I'm a Graphic Design Major at WCU and, as of now, I'm going into my senior year. HOPEFULLY, I'll be graduating after this summer but it depends on the course scheduling at my school. And I'm a little terrified of graduating. It's a whole mess of "oh God, what am I going to do once I have my bachelors?" and "should I move up closer to my friends once I graduate?" But I have a plan - I want to do the JET program. No, I'm not working on jets. The JET program is the Japanese Exchange Teacher program. You need a bachelors in anything to apply, and then, once they accept you, they ship you over to Japan to teach English. So as things stand, that is my plan.

My current obsessions change rapidly. I listen to a lot of music - I have music in fifteen different languages in my iTunes. I'm big on TV shows too - Doctor Who, Sherlock, and Supernatural are my favorites. I'm also huge on anything science fiction and I'm probably screaming on the inside about the upcoming Ender's Game movie and new Star Trek movie due out in 2013. Also, the Hobbit.

And, my pet peeve, if you are going to talk to me, is lack of grammar. I demand you write in proper English. If you PM me with terribly spelled things, I promise I'm going to ignore you. Even if I know you in real life. I understand the occasional spelling errors and purposefully made errors done for amusement - but I won't stand for chatspeak or anything that is not properly written out. Use punctuation and grammar - it will help you get respect from me, honest to God.
