My Impossible Quest
Kajarra just wants her kiki back.
When I joined back in 2004 it was not through my real life friends. I happened to come across it while boredly searching through page after page of google. Most of the sites that came up for entertaining forum were far from what that description promised but when I saw Gaia though, I was already clicking the button before I read the whole description.
I loved Gaia, I would have enjoyed it without any real life friends online or in the forums, but I couldn’t help advertise to a few of my friends the wondrous place I found. Only one bit. We weren't terribly close anymore, since she moved from the house next door to me, but we had some great times.
I only had a few items at the time, but I really wanted to let her borrow something, anything of mine, so she would feel welcome and stay.
I gave her my most expensive items, and told her she could use it until she got on her feet here. It was from a bump contest. I wanted that prize so bad I bumped 3000 times (about 2000 more than necessary but I wanted to be sure). It was the first item besides the peasant clothing that I owned and I loved it.
I got a pm from her later on in the week. She told me she had bought a few items and she wanted to show them off, it was an outfit worth about 1k at the time, I smiled she must have liked the site a lot to have made that much in only a week.
I said now that you are on your feet, you should give me back my kiki. She wrote, but I sold it to buy this.
I was so sad I said, Well give me the money left over and I will bump for the rest. She said she had sold it for 2k, it was worth 30k at the time. It was really hard to make gold then, so that was a lot.
I started questing, but by the time I got 30k it was 300k. I missed my kiki so much I didn't talk to that girl on here again (of course I still talked to her in real life I am not cruel.) I know I will probably never get my kiki back, but telling you this story felt lethargic.
I don't sell items because I get so attached to them, I miss my kiki so.
