Okay. So I have to tell you about my extremely crazy psychotic interesting day.
First. I got up at FIVE THIRTY IN THE FREAKING MORNING and drove to LA to perform at Solo and Ensemble Regionals. Which was okay. But the judge hated me, apparently. It wasn't that bad, though. After that me and mom drove to California Institute of the Arts, cause it was really close to where we were performing, and I wanted to see it since I really want to go to school there. Anyway. We walked around the campus for a while, but we didn't get an actual tour since it was a weekend and the staff wasn't there. It's SO PRETTY!!! I can completely see myself up there painting and dancing and playing music. It's amazing. It's also smaller than PDHS. Cool, huh? There's only 1200 students. So anyway, we drove *back* to the college where Regionals was, so I could perform iwith another group. Which took *forever*. And then we went to have lunch with my mom's best friend from when she was a kid, Nancy Cartwright. Who happens to play the voice of Bart Simpson, which is hilarious yet awesome. Anyway. Nancy has two kids. Lucy is seventeen and Jack is sixteen. And I'd completely forgotten about this until today, but me and Jack used to be *best* friends, when I was only six. I think I still have a letter or two from him shoved away somewhere. The funny thing is, he looked exactly the same, only older and taller. He's only about an inch taller than me though. HA. He plays drum set, by the way. He's *good*. Anyway. We ate lunch and then Mom and Nancy went off and talked and Lucy (who is a brat, by the way. she always was) disappeared somewhere, so Jack gave me a tour of the house, cause I didn't really remember the house at all. And then we went outside and there was this tire swing in the backyard that I remember cause it was shaped like a horse. And we sat on it and talked, and he was like "I can't believe we got out of touch, we used to be so close. You have to tell me everything about you." It was so awesome. And it's not like I like him *that* way, either, it's just really cool finding an old best friend that you'd almost forgotten about. Okay, so he *was* really really cute. But that's not important. Ha. But we are going back to visit them again, when we go take the tour of CalArts. I'm *really* excited about that. Anyway. On the way home we stopped at the Discount Dance warehouse, and I bought a new leotard and shorts and legwarmers. So, so awesome. I also tried on a pair of pointe shoes. REALLY awesome.
So, yeah. That's my crazy day =]
