today i've gotten my lazy butt up here to type about ACEN, the coolest anime convention around!! Acen, or anime central, is held in rosemont. i live in a small suburb of chicago, so getting there is no problem for me. it is in the first couple weeks of May, but I can't really remember. sweatdrop

as of right now, I only have the pattern for my mireille costume, the base cloth, and $27. where the hell did all my $$ go!!?? scream

so, yeah. i'm at about 10% done. i didn't even get the staff or the hat yet.... T__T

but i'm going with a bunch of friends, most of whom have never gone to a cosplay before. there is a couple girls who are the best at almost everything, but i'm gonna show them up with meh awesome costume!!!

p.s. it's mirelle from .hack//twilight, and the manga, not the anime. rena and mirelle's voices are so messed up there... and they turned mireille's outfit FRILLY!! those bastards.... crying
