The dancing sousaphone
well, school was interesting. i found a picture of our school band in 1977 and showed it to my BD. He thought it was really cool. I was able to skip out on sixth period to go to a walk-a-thon at one of the local elementary schools with four drummers, two flutes, and a saxaphone. Our van only seats 8, but we managed to fit 19 people and all our instruments inside. You don't want to know how. Without a trumpet, though, most of our songs were out the window. So i danced along to the drum cadances with the cheerleaders and our mascot. Later that night, I went to county with my public presentation. My mom had me put on a yukata that I own to present because my presentation was about anime. But i only got a blue, so meh.
