My PoV
Just as Shalimar and Wynn came back to med deck, a display screen flashed on showing n** in the pilot chair of the Dragonfly.

Before she could speak, I demanded, "n**, in the name of Lofwyr, why did you steal the Dragonfly?"

"I've been ordered to go to your house to watch over Xangord and Xink," n** replied. "And might I ask why you opened fire on us? We'll return the ship."

"I didn't," I replied. "The pixie did. Wait...you were ordered? I didn't tell you to do anything!"

"Never mind that now. You need to go after Nogard and the Renstok. We'll make sure they don't get their hands on Xink."

"Why would they want Xink?" Shalimar asked.

Remembering that the Renstok needed someone who hasn't killed to shed the blood of someone evil-turned-good, I said, "Rhonabwy watch over him! Xink hasn't killed yet!"

Rhonabwy's PoV -- note, see this entry
Opening his eyes, Rhonabwy heard the prayer said by Dragon. Raising his head, Rhonabwy roared to summon Lowfyr, Thermail, and Masaru. Once all three appeared, Rhonabwy glared at Lowfyr and growled, "Why have you been keeping the Renstok a secret from us?"

"It will be okay. I have my dragoon and Dragon's dragoon protecting Xink."

"Why does Xink need protecting?" Masaru demanded.

"Because the Renstok are going to use him as a vessel to bring their god into this dimension!"

"I don't see why this is anything to worry about," Thermail said. "One less black dragon to deal with."

Masaru snarled.

"You should worry brother. To bring their god into this dimension, Nogard has to be killed!"

Turning on Lowfyr, Masaru snarled, "And you didn't tell us this why?"

"Because I told him not to tell any of you," Draco said, appearing next to Rhonabwy, "for this very reason. All three of you are about to go back into the world again to protect them and I will not have it.

"But Draco--"

"If you interfere," Draco interrupted, "the whole clan will be wiped out. Thermail, Masaru, and Rhonabwy--you three are forbidden to send your dragoons to help n** and Taran."

Glancing at Masaru and Thermail, Rhonabwy saw they were as upset as him from being forbidden to intervene, but could also see that they did not want Dragon's line from dying out as they each had an investment in it.

"Lowfyr, please alert n** and Taran to hurry."

n**'s PoV
Closing off communication with Dragon after getting her answer, n** thought, A pixie? Well they were always rude little...beasts.

Appearing in his spirit form, Lowfyr suspended himself in space in front of the Dragonfly. Using telepathy on both n** and Taran, he said, You need to hurry.

"But the ship was damaged from a pixie opening fire on us," n** said.

Just pick up the speed! Thermail said, appearing in spirit form next to Lowfyr and using telepathy on n** and Taran as well. We will do what we can to keep you from blowing up, but I will kill you myself if you do not MOVE!

"Alright! Alright," n** said. Grabbing the mike for the comm system, n** barked into it, "Taran, I am assuming you know already. But I want you to hold on to something, this is only my second time flying a space ship!"

Flipping three switches above her head and punching buttons on the console to jumpstart the flash engines, n** thought, It's been a few days since I last fed and I've been exerting a lot of energy...

Xangord's PoV
"Intruder alert!" Nerissa's voice said over the intercom system. "Intruder alert!"

"Where?" Xangord said.

"It is a portal that is being forced open," Nissa said, appearing on a display screen suffering from static. "I can't--"

The screen went blank.

"Xink, get ready," Xangord said.
