Hello everyone,today ill be talking about the way people percieve certain genres of music....this is a pretty big one so sit back,and enjoy the inner thoughts of my mind:
The way people percieve any genre is devistatingly important to the genre itself as a whole. Artists strive to create art for the people to enjoy and listen to. But with the genres you have hundreds upond hundreds of genres and even more subgenres. With all the genres out there its hard to just like one....impossible is more the word. Now, even though tons of people enjoy music and the message they get from it,whether it helps them through a tough time in lufe,whether they make it themselves,to whether or not they're just listening to it because the like how it sounds....you always has that one a*****e who likes to destroy a band's or even a whole genres reputation.
And that's just not fair to the musical artists within that genre or subgenre. Now in my personal oppinion "Rap" and "Hip Hop" are the only genres of music that i, personally, just cant stand. They don't talk about anything helpful...they talk about sex, "bling bling", their cars, their money,and all the material posesstions...now im not saying all of them do just that but most of them do. Moving on... now the genre of rock (including metal and all the other subgenres of it) now this genre is my particular life long love and it is also the most popular in the world,but it's also the one that has been ripped apart by so many people.
Now im not saying its all good,just like rap,some of the rock artists sing about sex,drugs,and they're cash. But thats a chosen few out of the whole body of musical artists in this genre. Now im going to go into something heavy now....

Columbine....a terriblely horrific site for all who bore witness to it....but when it was time to figure out "why" those sick human beings did that terrible thing they blamed it on the music...like Linkiin Park ,etc. Now is that fair? i dont believe so...
Unfortunately i have to cut it short for various reasons but id love to hear you thoughts on the subject,so please comment and check back later for the added portion ill have had added to this post later on.
