The pair of them slept in complete silence. Kaia, lying motionless in Kitxo's arms, and Kitxo's head against the wall. They adjusted, lying side by side, falling back into sleep almost immediately. Her dreams were untroubled, so long as she felt Kitxo right beside her. The only time she could ever feel completely safe was with his presence. Kitxo's arms held Kaia tightly, almost as if he'd heard her thoughts.
Putting his lips against her hair, he lightly kissed the top of her head. Kitxo felt Kais' warm body against his, glad that he could gold her so close to him. Not thinking about what the future held for them, or the situation they remained stuck in, they thought of nothing at all but this moment. Kaia's hand wrapped around one of his, while she rolled over, pressing them close together. Playing her fingers up and down his spine, Kitxo smiled, lightly stroking through her hair. "Morning sunshine."
Kaia looked up at him and groaned softly, setting her head back down and closing her eyes, "Wake me up at noon or something, we both know I'm not a morning person...." Kitxo laughed lightly, settling the side of his face against hers, whispering into her ear. "Wake up, baby. It is noon already." One of his hands turned her head so that Kaia's lips were turned toward his, kissing softly, their lips only seeming a gentle caress...Almost like a mere passing breeze on a summer afternoon...
