Chapter Five
Lena's Letter
"I won der how Lena and Nick are doing this morning?"said their grandmother.
All of a sudden a small ball of light flew through her window.It was Clair with Lena's letter.
"Oh...Hello Clair."smiled their grandmother."So how is Lena doing?"Now reaching for Lena's letter.
Clair hands it over to Lena's grandmother."Now let's see."She reads the letter out loud.
"Dear Grandmother,
We're doing fine.Nick and I got Haru,and started traveling to England.It was getting late so we had to stop by a cave and pulled the tarp over the boat.We're sleeping under the tarp,so we're warm.I'm writing this letter by Clair's Fairy Light.
Love,
Lena
P.S.I owe you $50.00."
"Well Clair do you want to rest before you go back to Lena?"
Clair shakes her head no.
Okay then go on,and countinue to help them.Bye."
Clair wave's bye and leaves.
Mean While
"COME ON!WAKE UP,EVERYONE!"yelled Lena,starting to honk the boats horn.
"Okay,okay.We're up."yawned Nick and Haru,as they got up and bulkled themselfs into their seats.
"Good."said Lena,starting the boat.
"Don't you think we should wait for Clair to return?"asked Nick."Plus I'm starving."
"That's a good idea,Nick.Look in my backpack since your hungry."said Lena,turning off the boat.
