Paparazzi 'Put Prince's Life In Danger'
Prince Harry's safety has been put at risk on his holiday in Botswana by a dangerously-driven vehicle carrying pursuing photographers, alleges Clarence House.Aides raised the matter with the Press Complaints Commission after Harry was snapped on safari with girlfriend Chelsy Davy.Paddy Harverson, communications secretary to the Prince of Wales, claimed the vehicle carrying the photographers was driven dangerously and put the 20-year-old royal at risk of being involved in an accident.

It allegedly followed alongside the Prince's jeep on a bumpy dirt track before pulling in front of Harry and his girlfriend's car.

The pictures of Harry and Chelsy were printed in two national newspapers - the Daily Mail and The Sun.

Mr Harverson said: "We're very concerned about the circumstances in which these photographs were taken.

"There was a pursuit of Prince Harry's jeep along a rutted dirt-track that involved dangerous driving which put the occupants of both Prince Harry's vehicle and the photographers' vehicle at risk of an accident."

He added: "In those conditions and on that road, there was no room for error if anything had gone wrong."

Mr Harverson said the PCC had been contacted, but an official complaint had not been made. He said he had also spoken to the editors of the newspapers that printed the images.

The Prince and Chelsy were both said to be very angry over the incident.

Harry's mother Diana, Princess of Wales, was being followed by paparazzi photographers in Paris when she died in a car crash in 1997.
