It's been a long week for me and Robert. We both signed up to volunteer for the US Senior Open held at Whistling Straights in Kohler, WI. We both had early shifts during the week. The latest we could leave was 6 am this week from our houses. The earliest was 4:30 am... ugh!
I was a will call/admissions collector. He got to do marshaling. Yesterday and today he had to marshal a double shift on hole four, which borders Lake Michigan. His double shift lasts from 7 am to 3 pm. It's an 8 hour shift, but he's standing the entire time and in the squelching heat nonetheless! Today it's extremely humid and a high of above 100 is expected! I'm staying indoors in the air conditioning...
