Arthur traveled to many places, and visited many masters of the shadow and fire arts. He learned many skills that have come vital to his survival at some times. Arthur's first master was Algazar Nekrataal. He was a ninja who had mastered the dark arts to veil himself in shadow. Arthur spent two years under Algazar's guidance. He had trained almost nonstop. Arthur only stopped when he absolutely had to eat or sleep. Arthur had completed his training under the dark master and was about to leave, but before he left Algazar confronted him with one final task: defeat his master. The fierce battle between shadow master and shadow student lasted well into the next few days. The outcome was one the master knew would be. Algazar Nekrataal had died at the hands of Arthur Sataine. Arthur left in search of another arts master with the knowledge and wisdom he had learned.
