Della Intro Post
Della felt exceptionally lovely today.

She had taken great care in making herself look pretty that day, placing her unnaturally long ebony hair into pigtails tied together by maroon-colored ribbons. Her outfit was outlandish and only matched simply because it was a dress. However, it was questionable as to whether the dress itself had any coordination.

The dress was black, large puffy sleeves along the shoulder line trimmed with more maroon colored ribbons before trailing down the length of her arm and ending about her elbow in a white cuff. More maroon ribbons trimmed the collar, however, her waist was separated from short, frilly skirts by a large white belt that tied into another ribbon in the back. Another ribbon around her neck, white knee-high stockings, and a pair of boots completed her ensemble so that she looked like a rather complicated excuse for a Barbie. Minus the blonde hair and blue eyes.

Clutched tightly in her arms, Madam Bun Bun's head lolled lazily with each step. Madam Bun Bun had quite recently become Della's favorite toy, a bunny-bear she now carried with her wherever she went until something more interesting came along. She had bought this one a couple weeks ago, and so far they had been through more together than Della had with some of the people she worked with. Of course it only figured that'd be the case... They had no idea how to love her.

Steely gray eyes glanced upward as she flashed a brief smile to some of the passer-bys. Lovely people, yes, but they really did give her some of the strangest looks. She assumed the all wondered what a little girl might be doing wandering the streets by herself without her mother, but Della was nothing close to a little girl. In fact, she hadn't been a little girl, approximately 10, for almost 14 years now. Della was a very big girl, even if she was a bit diminutive in size.

"Oh Madam Bun Bun. Where do we go now? I don't feel like heading to headquarters just yet..." she whined, poking out her bottom lip slightly in a sort of pout before letting her dark eyes trail upward from the stuffed animal to the stores she was passing by. She contemplated stepping inside, always enjoying a nice shopping trip, when her eyes got the glow of a certain neon sign. This one was particularly bright against the glow of the rest, and her pink lips spread into a sort of wide smile, revealing rows of pearly teeth as she squeezed tighter on the bunny.

Her excitement was becoming overwhelming as she made a right turn and slipped inside. Sweet Stop.

Shelves of delectable goodies, mouth-watering sugars, and mind-melting sweets lined the store from ceiling to floor and spread out in some of the most appeasing manners. There was different kinds of gumballs in a least five different containers, chocolate fountains spewing their sticky brown contents and jelly belly machines filling kids' candy bags to the brim. Even the sheer smell of the place, something like marshmallows and powdered sugar, made Della's mouth gape and sort of drool.

She made her way over to one of the jars, peering inside at the contents that looked oddly like candy corn but had a more unusual assortment of colors as well as being seemingly dusted with some type of sugar substance, perhaps sour powder. She quite fancied a taste of it, and had the likely mind to reach in her pocket for her wallet when a nagging voice inside her told her to stop. Possibly Madam Bun Bun, who was most likely the more reasonable one out of the two.

"I know..." she muttered, sighing heavily as she looked away from the container and slipped her hand into her pocketbook, "I already have bags of the stuff at home... I'll just eat some later."

She fingered one of the contents inside and pulled out a little container of tic tacs, pouring the last one into her mouth as she exited the store. Letting out another sigh, she looked down at Madam Bun Bun. She was going to question as to their next destination, but felt a sharp yank at her arm which made her gasp sharply in pain as she felt it twisted backwards and pulled her entire body upward.

"Ow. What the hell...?" her cold eyes shifted up to glare at the store owner.

"I just saw you! You stole that candy in your mouth!"

Della looked completely insulted.
"I did no such thing. I would never steal a thing in my life and I can't believe you would dare insult me so."
The store owner appeared taken aback by her words, probably her accent, but his grip only tightened along her arm.

"I saw you stick something in your mouth."

"That was a tic tac you idiot."

"Whatever it was, you're going to pay for it, one way or another!"

Della shot him a nasty scowl, tears welling bright and wet in her eyes. Under normal circumstances she would've killed the man where he stood, but there was just too many witnesses and the time was just too inconvenient. But it would've been so easy to snatch up the dagger against her thigh. She could feel the Italian anger in her rising at being insulted so drastically.

"Let me go! Cretino!"
