Betrayal.

I’m lost in her eyes,
I see myself but it’s not me.
She knows me and I: her,
But she knows nothing.
Her heart belongs to me,
But not forever…
My love, my life has found another.
Alone in the dark,
I’m lost without her.
Trying to find my way I see her,
In my friend’s embrace.
Now I know the truth,
The horrible truth.
But still I’ll refuse to let go.
I’ll hold on forever.
My grip weakens,
I mustn’t fall,
I mustn’t let go.
I’ll…. never……. let go
