Why I hate... My Uncle Today, I'm supposed to mow my uncle's lawn. However, he thinks I should have done it already. To try and fix this, he calls me at 8 this morning, right as I'm about to start volunteering for some National Honor Society hours. I tell him I'll be there later, but I will do it. I'm fine for a while, then right after lunch, he calls me again. This time, he decides to yell at me without actually yelling, its that type of tone, and says that if I can't keep my priorities straight, I'll never get far. He then says that I should always put the people who pay me in front of those who don't, says he'll mow the lawn, and hangs up. Without giving me a chance to tell him I'll be there in the next hour. Thus denying me a chance that I hadn't lost to earn my only source of money this week. And also why I hate my uncle

your uncle sounds like my mother. you have your own life with things to do and they just come into your schedule and expect you to do something about it. plus, that's really immature of him to yell. I feel your pain gonk

edit: at least your uncle didn't make you watch that dirty Paris Hilton porn... *shivers*
