A Story Untold: Part One..
'They always say to write about what you know, but what if what you know, is something they don't want to hear? My name is Isabella Rose Rodrigez, I am 14 years old, and my parents are immigrants. Illegal immigrants at that. I'm starting this journal to share with my family, and the world someday. I want them to know what I think about them, as well as what others do.'

"Isa!" Called a voice from the next room.

'That, is my sister Luz, the oldest. She had recently graduated highschool, and is doing what anyone that doesn't have "Papers" does. Work. That's her destiny to earn low wages, while she tries to further her education. By mentioning that she is the oldest, I give you a clue that I have more siblings two more to be exact. The second oldest, is Marco. He's a junior in highschool, and is ashamed of his culture. He says that, that will be his downfall.

The other is my sister Christina, she is different. She's the kind of person who enjoys to put others down, and just scare them in general. I have a theory that it may be because that is how she was treated in her past. Now, however, she doesn't seem to care about anything. Anyway, then that just leaves my parents. As I mentioned above, they are illegal immigrants, and are the greatest people I have ever met. They have risked everything to give us a nice house, in a nice neighborhood.

It's a bit strange, everyone in my family calls me, Marco, and Christina the triplets. Even though there is a three year difference between me and Marco. It's because we all have the same eye color, and hair, even though my skin is a bit lighter because I am a chicana. Well, this where my story will begin, the first day of school. My freshman year, scary isn't it? Try being the only one with darker skin.'

“Isa your going to be late!” Luz called once more.
“I'm going!” Isabella called back, as she grabbed her bag, and pulled on a light sweater. The door slammed softly, as she walked outside to be greeted by Eric. Isabella's bestfriend, Eric, had beautiful green eyes, and shaggy brown hair whats not to love? Also he may be one of the nicest, and sweetest guys you will ever meet.

“Hey Isa.” Eric said slinging his bookbag, over his shoulder.
“Hey, how was your summer?” Isa asked smiling, as she adjusted the tank top she wore underneath her sweater. “Alright, kinda boring though.” He said shrugging. Isabella nodded in agreement, as she shoved her journal into her bag.

It began to rain faintly, as they crossed the street, exactly two blocks from the school. Eric laughed as he grabbed her hand running, as the ran began to come down harder on the both of them. Isa laughed along, as she ran reaching the school before Eric. They laughed even harder, considering the both were wet. They opened the door to the school, forgetting there fears about the upperclassmen for a moment. Isa shook her head gently to shake out the water, as a group of people walked past snickering.

Eric glared at them, then looked over at Isabella. “We should probably..just go to our lockers.” He said looking around cautiously. Isabella looked at him slightly confused, as she spotted a group of girls that she had been tight with last year. “What..? Why, I was just going to go and say hi to some of my girls.” Eric shook his head slightly, and grabbed her arm. “Isa, it may be better if we just don't...”

Isabella shook her head slightly, and said,”..It'll just take a minute.” Before Eric could stop her, Isabella was in front of them smiling, a bit confused as to why they were giving her mean looks. “Hey...whats up with that..?” She asked confused.

A girl named Marissa looked at her wearily at first, then looked over at a group of upperclassmen, then gave her a mean look. Isabella took a step back, not exactly expecting her friend to do that to her, she was about to say something more when she felt someone shove her out of there way.

Marissa just turned her head and said in a nasty voice,”We don't talk to...people like you.” Isabella was about to ask what that was supposed to mean when Eric just grabbed her hand and dragged her off to the lockers. “Look, Isa, things are going to be different here.” He said softly, as he gently pushed some of her curls out of her face. Isa just shook her head, as tears began to form in her eyes.

“How do you expect me to understand that...? Those girls had been my friends since preschool, and now they just...drop me? I don't even understand.” She said the tears slowly escaping her eyes.

"I know Isa, I know. There just stupid look, we'll talk more later the bells about to ring okay..?" Eric said as he wiped the tears from her eyes. "Don't worry Isa." Isabella just shook her head unable to even think about what to say. I mean what was she supposed to say? Oh yeah, it doesn't matter, Marissa's only been my best friend since kindergarden. No. The bell rang overhead, shattered Isabella's thoughts, as she grabbed her bag, and walked to her first period class. The first two period went by faster then she had expected, she got looks, and heard whispers to soft to make them out. But, other then that her morning went by peacefully. No one really bothering her
