Today I read the latest HP book 'Deathly Hallows'. I am severly disappointed By this piece of work, which flows like a mediocre fanfiction rather then the culmination of the most world renownd series of our time. Without giving anything away I can tell you that characters die left and right and the ending is so freaking cheesy and cliche I want to vomit. talk2hand
After the last book I shouldn't have had any expectations but I did and am thus thoroughly wishing I had never read the book and made up my own ending. The journey was rushed and I no longer felt the magic that had first made the series so addictive.
On the plus side though rushed the storyline does contain some interesting plot devices and a nice little game of mysteries which confirm some things I've suspected for years and disprove some of my othe theories.
For everyone who believes I am simply too old for the series, I'm 19 now and I was 12 when I first started HP, I still find the first few novels delightful. I now expect to be flamed for this review and frankly don't care. evil
