I went to hang out with him-his door was locked.
I went to watch tv with him- he was asleep.
I went to take a walk with him-he said he would be talking on th phone.
I have to hold on to the memories of roller coasters, movie theatres, and sharing laughs.
those memories haven't been renewed, and old memories do fade.
i wish we spent more time, and talked a lot more.
Now he is leaving across the country, and is time to say goodbye.
It is not as much as a goodbye, rather than more of a plead for hope.
that the next visit is full of conversations, games, and fun.
I can't promise I won't cry, but I can promise that i will be happy for you.
