Ah the Power of Words!
Whatever I am thinking about today....
Don't load iTunes 7.3.1!
Today I am what you might says as "really ticked off".

My desktop crashed about two weeks ago...I wasn't too worried because I am a self proclaimed geek. We have six working computers in the house and I had my laptop. The only thing I really needed my desktop for was my iTunes. My iTunes is large...over 115 gig and I wanted to download new music.

Well I ended up having to recover the c drive ... good thing my itunes is on d...and I have Norton 360. (Note to anyone who reads this...if you are lazy about backups...this software is a real gem!) I loaded the iTunes software....the new stuff because they now have the handy dandy iPhone. Loaded everything into the library....and then downloaded a new tv show that I had missed.

After all that I went to do a backup of iTunes....(Yes this is a real crappy thing they have only allowing disk backup)...and it won't backup! Yep...I am MAD MAD MAD MAD! Well after I cooled down....I contacted iTunes Support. This was my response:

Dear Melissa,

I am sorry to hear that you are unable to burn a back up disc(s). This does not imply any technical difficulty with your optical drive. Other customers have reported similar experiences after updating the iTunes jukebox application to version 7.3.1.

Since the iTunes Store support team does not provide support for the application software or provide technical support, I have no suggestions as to how to resolve this difficulty. I am sure this will be corrected in the next update for the iTunes jukebox software.

In the meantime, many customers report that it is still possible to burn audio discs and this is a way to secure your recent purchases on disc if you desire. For further information about this technical difficulty, you should refer to the discussion forums.

NEWSFLASH iTunes.....you can't burn disks for movies and tv shows. Thanks for nothing.

So to end this I am saying to anyone....DON'T UPLOAD THE NEW iTUNES!!

I will be patiently waiting (okay not patiently) for the update to fix the inadequately tested iTunes.
