It's times like these when I wonder if I'm even cut out for the throne. Daemon's been really critical lately, as have all the elders, and I can't help but feel like I'm never going to measure up in their eyes. I've been trying my best; studying and practicing and staying out of everyone's way, yet it doesn't seem to be enough. I know I shouldn't complain, but I hold it in so much that I need to let it out in one way or another. Maybe someday I'll get better, but...well that day's not coming anytime soon. It's been 325 years; you'd think I would have gotten it down by now, but I guess I'm just a slow learner. I don't know...
