Fate

I need to Know at any rate,
So let’s find out and see.
Am I to be controlled by fate,
Or to choose my Destiny?
Am I at all of any importance?
A Prince in a fairytale?
Do I have a use in existence?
A Duty I’m not meant to fail?
I feel a plot about to thicken,
But I don’t know what to do.
I feel as though something big will happen
Just between me and you.
Will I discover aliens?
Kill an evil King?
Will I save the Earth?
Save a friend from dying?
What do I have to do
To overcome my fears?
All I want is to be with you
throughout the rest of my years.
Would I have to slay a mighty dragon?
Fight in a coliseum?
Dispatch an enormous kraken?
Find a lost mausoleum?
Just tell me what to do,
And I’ll do it with haste.
You know I want to be with you
No matter what would be my fate!
