Well, I've landed. It's so weird. I'm on my own for once - basically independent (within reason). I've already met the RA on my floor - she's so cool. I'm completely moved in, for the most part. When my roommate moves in next Wednesday, we're going to make the staff move the beds. Right now their side-by-side, but we want bunk beds for sure. There'll be more room that way. And the dorm rooms are very tiny! I knew they were going to be small...but yea, I guess I wasn't surprised by the size. However, I was scared once we finished bringing in everything from the car that we weren't going to be able to fit it all, or be able to fit it, but that Abby (my roommate) wouldn't have any room. But we did it, we fit it all in!

Still, it's so weird. I'm living alone for the first time in my life. God I'm nervous. That's I guess why I'm writing so much. I'm lonely. I miss my mom, dad, brother, and especially my dog and cat. It's really fun, but since I've moved in early, there's hardly anyone here. But I heard at the RA meeting early (I went to it even though I'm only a CM because I was moving in when the CM meeting was held) that around 3,000 people are moving in early tomorrow. That's about a third of the people that will be moving in on the actual move in date (next Wednesday the 22nd).

The good news is the RAs here are really nice. For some reason they think that I'm this really sweet innocent girl (mostly because when they introduced themseleves, I said things like "Nice to meet you" wink . But really, all that means is I have manners - trust me, this angel images is gonna go down fast once they get to know me. I'm nice, but way too sarcastic and punkish to ever be considered a "good girl". I don't care; that's so not me anyways. Well, I'm gonna sign off now and go wander the campus or draw. Or something. Or hopefully meet people, that'd be nice.
