Swimming for me is more than a sport.
It's my life, my goal, not a last resort.
I give all I have, each time I go.
and never give up... but even so...
There are times i just want to quit.
To go home and be done with it.
To say "why bother...it's just a sport".
But then I realize, it isn't, and go to my "fort"
My house, my refuge, even my fort
that's what I call my team for this sport.
Because they do more for me than I could even hope.
In ways that have helped me cope.
I can't thank them enough, I would go on forever.
I love this team, now and forever.
