Ramen Teriyaki
Ingredients - one cup water - one package ramen noodles (minus the seasoning packet) - teriyaki sauce to taste - whatever vegetables & meat you like
Preparation Prepare whatever meat and vegetables you want to use. It doesn't matter what you use, so just go with something you like. I used chicken that I grilled on a barbeque (without sauce) and broccoli. Chicken was allowed to cool then thinly sliced. Broccoli was chopped coarsely and steamed lightly, but not to the point of being soft.
Using a skillet, boil 1 package of ramen noodles in one cup of water until noodles are thorougly soften but not mush, then drain out any excess water. Return noodles to pan.
Add just enough teriyaki sauce to coat the noodles without having them swim in it. Allow ramen noodles to cook in teriyaki sauce for one minute, stir constantly to prevent burning.
Add vegetables and meat, then stir into noodles. You can add a bit more teriyaki sauce of the meat/vegetables do not appear to be coated well. Again, you don't want them swimming in it and stir constantly.
Once noodles, vegeteables and meat all appear to be thoroughly coated, serve immediately. Toss flavor packet.
