The Earth shares no more mercy with those who stomp upon Her.
Those who destroy Her.
As She dances Her rebellious circles, crying and shaking, letting her tears drop on the creatures below.
Her dance gets worse as the faceless men in hard hats rip Her up.
She still cannot figure out why She allowed the aliens to live here.
She has been deceived, trying to prove Herself worthy to those not worthy of Her.
They have made Her bitter.
Her favor is running out.
She tries to scream for help to Her brother Moon, reaching and pleading with blue fingers.
But, the aliens have stomped Him out too.
The Moon wants to help.
He hates the aliens just as She does.
But, He can’t do anything.
The aliens have stomped Him out too.
The faceless men in hard hats still stand, building walls of disrespect.
The Media has also betrayed Her.
She urges on the aliens.
She uses Her bewitching commercials, catchy jingles, and powerful lies to poison the aliens.
A poison they crave.
So now the Earth is heartless, desperately trying to kill more and more aliens everyday.
From the faceless men in hard hats, to the empty businessman.
From the lifeless stay-at-home mom, to the never-to-be-found dad.
From the desperate pleading punk, to the sludge-filled prep.
They all would have been gone already, if She had the power.
So for now, She tries.
Through fears of a thing called Armageddon.
Through ideas of a thing called Global Warming.
But the aliens fight it off, and rip Her up more.
One day She will win.
She will kill the ungrateful aliens and Her revenge will be fulfilled.
Then She will sigh, a sigh of relief.
Because, finally there will be no more aliens to stomp upon Her.
There will be no more aliens, and finally She will be free again.
question I wrote this poem I think in 2006. It kind of creeps me out, but I like it.
