I'm going to try and explain this so the people who weren't there can try and wrap their minds around the full blown intensity of Projekt Revolution in Boston, Mass. But please understand, little kiddies, that even if you think you understand, you don't. You won't even know the half of it.
Okay......
When we were right near the Tweeter Center, we stopped in a McDonalds. A girl and two boys were in there. Valerie and I went in first, Randi and Jordan lagged behind. When Randi came in with her MCR jacket, they asked her when the gates opened. Of course she knew.
We ate in the kid's room, with Wonder Pets going on i nthe background behind my head on the screen. We got to Tweeter, and the same girl let us cut her. At first we thought she only meant Randi. whee But she motioned to us, too, when we didn't come. We didn't get to bring water in, and they patted us down. But at least they had separate lines for girls and boys.
Merchandise. We got free Projekt Revolution bags after Randi played with a phone. We headed to the hut, and got t-shirts. I got this nice black and white one that's styled after a football jersey, only it's soft and not the same material. It was MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE and a football helmet on the front, and TEENAGERS and 01 on the back. Pretty beautiful. And a poster when they were doing Teenagers, because Gee has his short black hair and Mikey has changed (and made Valerie hate him).
There were two stages. The outdoor one where everyone stood, and the indoor stadium dome one. The outdoor was for the smaller bands, because the bigger one had cover in case it started to rain on the wonderful MCR and Linkin Park.
Madina Lake was first. They were pretty good and had awesome hair. The Bled was next, and we had all wormed our way right up near the front. They weren't too good, but then my dad butted in and made us get out because he thought it was "unsafe". What the hell. The security guards are right up there, and when people get on top of others, they reach over you to grab them. So up front, you're the safest. But my stupid dad didn't understand that. So we had to watch from afar. Saosin came on, and we watched from the edge of the crowd.
Then Mindless Self-Indulgence.........

They were ******** AWESOME. I only knew one song, but they played it. We (Randi and I) pretty much screamed those lyrics and everyone around us kept looking at us weirdly. Urine (I forget his first name) was the lead singer. He's totally off his rocker. Hilarious. He stuck the microphone down his pants one time. Points to a pink haired girl on her boyfriend's shoulders and says, "You're ugly. Get down." Jumps from the subwoofers. "Am I CUTE, or am I CREEPAAE? Creepy like a stalker? Or cute like a Pok-e-mon?" "We need more stalkers. More underage ones. Then we can totally fung-shua (don't know how to spell that) them." He has hot pink fairy wings, and straps them on. Struts around stage with them. Throws off his jacket, pulls up his pants for the hundredth time.
Now by this time, people are throwing things on stage. Condoms, trash, stuff like that. One of the people funding Projekt Revolution was Trojan. They were handing out free samples. They tried to give Valerie one! rofl "I'm wasted. Wait. That was yesterday. I'M TOTALLY SOBER!" *grabs a bottle off one of the subwoofers, it's filled with alcohol* "This stuff slows me down, but this stuff speeds me up!" He's like, "What am I going to do with this stuff? Give me doedorant!" *someone chucks deodorant* "Woo. Here, Kitty, have some of this." *gives his girl guitarist some* "Now some cigarettes." *takes one from the stage, lights it up* "Yeah." *sings a song, takes a drag between breaths* "A cigar. I've really been craving one of those." And he actually gets one, because half the people there are smoking something.
Everything he says is pure awesomeness. Then we mentions something about fighting. "I'm going to fight you all. Ooooooooh, sure. You think you can take on a skinny a** like me. But I fight with THIS." He pulls out a DDR DANCEMAT.
I enjoyed every second of their performance. And I took like, thirty pictures of him, no joke. He gets on the huge subwoofer, and says, "YOU WANT ME TO TAKE MY PANTS OFF?" The crowd cheered so hard. And he took them off. Very funny. He jumps around in his black boxers..
Syles Of Beyond didn't play. I think that was it for the people on the smaller stage. Everyone headed to the bigger one.
First Julien-k. It was bleah. They had a nice background, though. HIM was next. Ville Vash barely spoke at all to the crowd. He was kind of creepy. biggrin But I only got one picture of him. I think Jordan wants that...
Was Placebo before or after HIM? I don't know...but I hated them. An English band. His voice was really whiny when he said "need". I hated his voice.

So wonderful. Gerard in his uniform, red bandana, and sheriff star. "It's because I'M the sheriff of EMO TOWN.. So grab your (I forget what he said, I was too busy staring at him), and your eyeliner..."
So wonderful. So, so, SO wonderful. Gerard, you are wonderful. Thank you so much for living..
FIRE.
It was all around Bob, and they had that mixed with a wolves background. House Of Wolves and Famous Last Words meshed.. Amazing.
And Ray! You are so talented, my dear. Rocking out to Gee's left, doing your awesome headbanging while Mikey is trying to do the same.. And Frank in his white hoodie that he had to take off after a few songs because it was so hot.
Gerard on the big screen. LMFAO! Valerie had to look away. I was laughing so hard...
Some time after that he either had boas set aside or the moshy people in front gave them to him.. But when the song ended, it went black. When the lights came on, everyone had a boa. Gee had a purple one, Ray a red/black one. During one song Gee had a purple feather sticking to the top of his head.......

I was so very sad when they came off the stage.. I wanted to cry, but of course, when I want to, I can't. *sigh*
Linkin Park was very good. If I didn't like MCR, they would definitely be one of my favorite bands. They started out behind a white curtain. I got a picture right when it was falling away, too... Very, very good. The light coordination was pretty. It must have been 10:40 when the lights went out and they just walked off stage. But they didn't say a goodbye or anything, so you knew there would be an encore. And sure enough, after five to ten minutes, they came right back out and played to 11. They stretched out their play time because there was still time left over with Syles Of Beyond not playing for some reason..
If I ever figure how to post pictures on to the internet, you all will see them. Beautiful, wonderful, amazing, awesome Projekt Revolution. Especially Gerard and My Chem.. I felt a little bad for Bob, because he was surrounded by the fire. We could feel the heat from our seats (I couldn't, but I guess everyone else could.....) so he must have been boiling.

I think that's it. Hope you made it through my retelling. And I sincerely hope that you could feel just a wave of euphoria that we felt when WE WERE THERE.
