Oh dear Lord! Geek.Kon is just three days away. I have to make some nice prints of my stuff, cut those prints to fit on some illustration board, paste them properly onto the poster board (provided I can find some rubber cement rolleyes everywhere I go, everybody is out of rubber cement!), fill out the paperwork for the art auction, and get up at 5:00 am Saturday and transport my prints and drawing materials safely to the con. It'll still be dark when I get up !
I also took vacation for this week. It's been nice. I go to Borders Bookstore and read and buy this great coffee flavored milkshake Seatle's Best makes. It's called a "Javanilla Shake" and I always wind up getting the large size. If I'm going to splurge, might as well. I've also been buying this series of books called " A Very Short Introduction." So far, I've bought Medieval England, 18th Century England, Anglo-Saxon England, Modern Art, Contempary Art, The Celts, and Sociology. At $9.95 /book, it's kind of an expensive habit to buy them.
