Frodo’s Muffin
A story created by the bizarre minds of my posse and then written by me!
This is an ancient story of the epic battle between light and dark, good and evil, muffins and bagels…
The journey had been a long one, but finally the company was allowed to rest. Frodo sat down upon a rock, and, tossing aside the lembas bread, began to eat a lemon poppyseed muffin. Gandalf came up behind him. “My, Frodo, that muffin sure looks tasty…”
“Damn strait it is!” Frodo said as he scooted a little bit away, shielding the muffin from Gandalf’s view. Gandalf sat beside Frodo, eyeing the muffin.
“You’d be willing to share, yes?” Gandalf asked, not waiting for an answer before reaching out a hand.
“Heck no you damn moocher!” Frodo leapt away, clutching the muffin to his chest. Then there was a noise behind the hobbit.
“MUFFIN!” Someone shouted like a Viking and then charged, snatching the muffin and sending Frodo the ground for a mouthful of leaves. Spitting the leaves out, Frodo glared up at the thief. Gimli was dancing, the muffin held above his head. This dance was so bizarre that the string of curse words that had erupted in Frodo’s head was not able to come out of his throat. He blinked twice, and sitting up, watched Gimli’s weird dance. “I’ve got a muffin, I’ve got a muffin! I’ve got a muffin and I got it for nuffin’!” sang Gimli.
WHACK! Legolas bopped Gimli on the head. “Stop that, you’re acting like an idiot. Oh yeah, and, I win.” Legolas snatched the muffin from Gimli’s hands and then stuffed it into his mouth. “Yummeh…” said Legolas, his mouth full of lemony-poppy-seed-muffin-goodness.
“You b*****d!” shouted Gimli, Frodo, and Gandalf all at once. Pippin, however, shouted,
“Eewww! You just ate Mr. Woon!”
