Have you ever looked at a clock so many times that you only see the minute hand moving like the second hand? Ever wondered what you have done wrong to deserve such a fate as losing the one you care for?
This is another story. Listen, Imagine, and wonder: Does life ever give happiness for long?
Weeks were wonderful, days gone by beautiful. Watching the sun rise and set through rose colored glasses. You talk to people, she's on your mind, on your tongue. You speak of her with the highest regard and every time you get to see her, you have no worries, no doubts. Yet a fear creeps in the back of your mind.
You're moving... and in the next week, it's your last time to see her. You try to keep cheerful, try to keep remembering the great times you have, the quirky comments you've said to each other.
'Is that your foot?'
'Macho Burrito, Lemonade...'
Finally, the fateful day arrives. You wake up late, body aching, eyes tired and red from the night before. You go to work, looking about, everything surreal. Your friends ask what's wrong and you can't even answer. You don't want to move your mouth, you don't want to say a thing, worried you'll say the wrong thing, causing your own emotions to run through you again as a torrent.
Your friend volunteers to go with you, you nod, not even saying that you wished the time alone. You sit in front of a blue screen, mind running sequences of happier times than now, of being with her, just holding her close.. You finally go out there, mind blank, mind running a mile a minute about thoughts which aren't coherent, just her laugh, her smile, her eyes.
You get to your house, you see her, you just want to hug her close pick her up and tell her that you love her, never want to be without her, but you see her parents. The mother is calm, sensible.. the father exuding the feeling of illbeing. You talk, small talk, and leave soon, your friend flaunting his abilities.
The drive was somber, the jokes meager and the tension thick. The friend thought that life would be easier if his hands went to your girlfriend. You shrug it off, keeping to yourself the anger that arises. At the park, more and more you watch as people play, poke and prod her, causing your mind to almost snap under the jealousy and prodding of others.
The day passed fast... the night passed worse.. as everything closed to an end, You find yourself at the door to her house, wrapped in a lover's embrace, kissing each other for what could be the last time for quite awhile. In such a notion, you find your mind happily clear until she leaves, then reality crashes down.
You will be half of a person without her, but there are two truths which keep you going, keep you sane.
You love her, and she loves you; whole heartedly

Little Events in a Larger Picture
Calamity and Insanity Happen.. yet only in doses before the calm. I am the brief Disaster caused by such a mess. These are my tales of chaos and destruction. Enjoy, yet please.. be careful as not always are the things in here stable.
I am hiding from some beast
But the beast was always here
Watching without eyes
Because the beast is just my fear
That I am just nothing
Now its just what I've become
What am I waiting for
Its already done

The days together were like dreams... Never had that much fun.
Wish I could go back to that time we were snuggled close in your bed.
