Ramblings.
Watashi wa Aiko desu. Okay screw that, my jap sucks. Whatevvv, Anyway, my name is Aiko. This is where I b***h about the unfairness of life and write random crap which you'll probably not enjoy. So if you don't have a twisted sense of humour,
Link Of Two Minds

Tetsuko shook her head as she walked down the crowded street. Ever since that butterfly touched her forehead....that tingling sensation...then those images...those strange memories she had seen, of war and an ancient land. Today she would get to the bottom of this, she swore. Today she would end these flashbacks and faints that hurt her so much. Today...

~An. Egypt time 2pm.~

Yasuaji couldn't help cursing as he leaned against the rough stone wall of the shack he was currently residing in. Those flashbacks, and that girl in the weird clothes which were so short they almost seemed indecent, were those her memories? He got up. It was all too confusing for him.
Unrolling the yellowed parchment that was the map his father left him, he dropped it in shock. It was glowing, no a spot was glowing. He leaned closer. The destination was...

'Yamato Gateway.'

The rusted gate that led to neverending darkness...

~21st century time 1pm~

Tetsuko collapsed on her bed. As soon as she hit the soft bed, however, she felt a stinging sensation and she saw a light. Her...homework?!?
On the history factsheet glowed a single word.

'Yamato Gateway'

Almost instinctively she reached out and touched the word. Then darkness enveloped her and she knew no more.

~Egypt~

Yasuaji touched the cold metal of the old gate. As he touched the map he had suddenly appeared here. So, was this his father's wish? His father had after all said
'Son, when I'm not here, follow this map...'
And then he was gone, gone like all the others, all his friends, his---
THUMP.
He peered fearfully into the darkness, scared of moving beyond the gate, yet scared to move out into the light. He clung to the barred gate like it was a lifeline, staring into the unknown.

Oh wait, he saw something, something that couldn't be true. That exact same girl was there, probably unconscious. He didn't know many people who would lay face down in the dark unmovingly.

Not daring to breathe, he trod silently into the blackness and let go of the iron gate, heading further into the blackness towards Her.

Poke. Poke. Poke.

Tetsuko stirred slightly. What the ruddy hell could be poking her? She forced her eyes open, blinking in the sudden light. Then a scream broke the silence as Tetsuko hurled a pillow at him. Who was he? And where in the world was she? This place looked like something straight out of a history book.

"Hey, what the-" Yasuaji opened his mouth to protest, but all he recieved was a stunning pain in the mouth and tasting old cloth.
"Ew no! Whaddaya think you're doing? I waste my strength bringing you back the arms of death and what I get is this?"

Yasuaji spat the pillow away from him, turning his bac to the stunned Tetsuko who immediately recoiled.

"I don't get you. And where is this place, country? This looks like something from a....a....history book!" Tetsuko managed a snarl in her breezy voice, waiting impatiently for his reply. But then there was a defeaning crash from the door and a sudden wind rushed in from the door. The figure at the still-creaking wind was obscured from sight by the bright afternoon light as both Tetsuko and Yasuaji winced at the brightness.

"Hello...children of the butterfly...and welcome to this neverending nightmare..."

The place darkened, and the figure smirked, revealing sharp fangs. Strips of cloth hung from his clothing, eight in total and his bizarre glowing eyes made him resemble a hell being.
