Ok, long story short I lost my job in December because I had to have an emergency operation for a disability I have. (A condition I've had since I was 13, was diagnosed at 17, and have had 3 operations for now... *sigh*) They took approved time off for the operation, my vacation time I took for my honeymoon, and a handfull of other days and said I missed 30 days of work in 30 weeks. Yeah...
So, I'm going after the company for descrimination. Their response? We fired her for missing 14 days in 9 months. We arent holding her surgery time or her honeymoon against her. Funny... my discharge papers say that time was included... Nice try to change the story there. I'm not happy... I haven't even been able to find a new job since then because of getting fired. cry It just goes to show you kids... life ain't fair.
