I like how long it's been since I've updated. Well, there's a lot of new stuff going on outside of the intarwebz, but for the most part nothing has changed on Gaia. There are a lot of newer neat features and plenty of fun Halloween items, but for the most part it's the same Gaia I've always known, just expanded to the n'th degree. Whatever.
I'm about 1500 tickets away from getting that little Ace of Spades. I'm going to work towards getting a lamp and balloon animal next, then work on getting a Joker Wand and that Flower Headband thing right afterwards. That's going to equal a lot of games of cards, but it can't be more than the amount of fishing I did to get all my Tuna masks...
Buuuut anyway.
My currently schedule of classes at UGA are as follows:
- Organic Chem (1211) at 10:10 AM - Biology (1107) at 11:15 - Intro to Music (2020) at 12:20
- Lunch break from 1:10 to 2:30
- Linguistics (2100) at 2:30 - Spanish (3010) at 3:35
That's my Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule. It's killing me, those five classes in a single day. I've been reminding myself over and over that I'll never do that again. Four classes in one day at most from now on for me!
Yikes, I almost dropped o-chem the other day, but then I found out that I did a lot better on my second test than I had anticipated, so that's good. I just have to keep on studying like a mofo for this next exam, which will be in about three weeks. It's never too early to start studying, I think. And I really need to start now because I heard the third test is going to be the most difficult...
I also have two labs, Bio lab on Tuesday at 12:30 (it lasts two hours) and chem lab on Thursday at the same time, but that lasts three hours. Sometime we get out earlier. On a positive note, I enjoy orgo chem and bio and my other classes A LOT more than I liked gen chem and those other random core classes I took last year that had nothing to do with anything, I just needed to get them out of the way because my degree called for them. I just need to take a P.E. class and I'll be good to go.
These classes are a lot fairer than other ones, in my opinion. Totally a good thing. biggrin
Anyway, I'm currently in love with a few new Jrock bands. Versailles is topmost on my list, but I like a ton of others, like Aural Vampire and Duel Jewel and Juka (heartheartheart). They're releasing new stuff in late October, so, yay! New music. =3
My current backlog of games: Metroid Prime Pinball (DS), Yoshi's Island DS, Jump! Ultimate Stars (fun!) (DS), Sonic Rush (DS), playing through the rest of Super Paper Mario (Wii), Dragon Quest VIII (PS2), and playing through the rest of Puzzle Quest (DS). See, I don't really buy anything else, just like... new clothes every now and then, and a few groceries (I don't need much to live off of, haha), so I usually have a good amount left to buy a game or two every month. Or a CD or something. Lately I've just been doing a lot more buying than playing, though, what with all the studying for classes and such, haha. Luckily my roommates like playing, too, so there's always something to do.
New games to look forward to: Guitar Hero III, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
There are a TON more that I'd like to play that are already out, but the list would be waaay too big to type out. XD So, I think I've talked about nothing long enough...
MCs are released in two days. Sweet.
