well, i think that once againi feel a little better. jeez, i've been having mood swings all over the place! sweatdrop anyway, i figure that it's time to post a sneak peek of my first (and maybe last) horror story, Crimson Kunoichi. i probably won't post the whole first chapter on Fanfiction months from now, so consider yourselves lucky! biggrin oh and Saga-chan, this will be my proof that i CAN write a horror story xd , so please tell me what you think! comments, questions, suggestions, and constructive criticism are accepted and valued, but please no flames! i hope you all like it!

Crimson Kunoichi

That night in the Hidden Mist Village was pitch black. The only thing that lit the sky was the pale, crescent moon. All was silent...all except for the cry of a newborn. But this cry lasted no longer than a second; for in an instant two demons who were looking for a fresh, new host entered the newborn's body, unseen and unnoticed. There was more silence and then...the mother of the child let out a terrified shriek. Her emotions of joy she felt from having her daughter were short lived. What she saw in front of her, what was in her arms would end her life.

Her child opened its eyes, but they had changed, the look they held in them no longer belonged to it. The mother knew something was wrong. She could sense it.

"HELP! HE-" her cry was cut off. The nurse in the room gasped in shock and fright; the mother's once white gown was now crimson with her own blood. Her mouth was wide open, showing how she tried to cry out for help seconds ago. Her eyes too became dull and unliving and more blood covered what used to be her beautiful, long black hair. The source of the blood was a huge hole in her stomach. Needless to say, this woman was dead.

The nurse ran out of the room immediately to her boss. "We need the strongest ninja we have, this is an emergency!" she cried in panic. But while she went to get help, the husband of the now dead mother noticed that she had left his beloved unattended. He'd also heard his wife's cries from inside the hospital room and became worried. Silently, he took a kunai out from his pocket and, with great caution, entered the hospital room.

The man gasped and his kunai fell to the floor with a clatter at the sight of his dead wife. He did his best to hold back tears, then he suddenly became still. Something was behind him. He turned and saw a naked girl, the only thing that was covering her were the bedsheets wrapped around her body that were on her mother's hospital bed. She stood at a height of five foot three and her long, white hair reached all the down way to her knees. The deadliest feature of hers were her eyes. They were a dull grey and the expression they held in them only showed one thing: death.

"Wh-what the hell?" the father choked out, his light blue eyes wide. Those would be the last words he'd ever speak. In one swift motion, the girl, without warning, opened her mouth and sank her fangs into his back, piercing right through him and making a clear hole to the other side. The father dropped dead, spilling a pool of blood around his corpse.

"Freeze!" voices commanded. The girl turned around and saw what must've been at least twenty jonin.

Before they could do anything, the girl turned around again, jumped out the open hosiptal window, and escaped into the night.
