I remember them asking, "What do you want to be when you grow up?"
And I would proudly answer without thought.
Who knew that what they were doing to me
was giving me false hopes and dreams.
They said I should work at something I love,
but soon put boundaries on all things I could have.
They wanted to protect me from harm,
but as a result, it just made everything hard.
One of these days, I just might get shot
because school only gave me books that don't do alot.
I never said that school is wrong,
I'm just saying thats its too far gone.
All they care about now is money and statistics,
I just wanna live my life without all of this bulls***.
If you're gonna teach me something useful, teach it now
'cause one day I WILL die and most likely go to hell.
