i felt like posting this. it's a little story from Nyatta's (my) past. smile

"WAAAAHHHHHH!!!! MOOOOOOOOMMMM!!" Nyatta cried, running in the door of her house.

"N-Nya? What is it?! What's wrong?!" Kurena asked worriedly, rushing to her.

Nyatta held up her left elbow, which was very badly cut. Blood could be seen oozing out of the deep cut, dripping down her entire arm.

"Oh my!" Kurena exclaimed, her emerald eyes wide. "My goodness, what a mess! What happened?!"

"I...I fell," her daughter replied, sniffling. "From a tree...I t-tried to ccatch a branch so i wouldn't f-all, but.." her explanation was interrupted by more sniffling and crying. "It hurts!"

Kurena sighed.

"Nyatta, you poor thing. Hold on while I get some gauze, o.k.?"

Nyatta nodded and sat down on the couch in the living room, while Kurena went to look for some gauze. Shortly after, she returned and sat on the couch as well, setting Nyatta on her lap. Then, Kurena began to make hand signs and her right hand started to glow dark green. She closed her eyes and whispered, "healing jutsu", as Nyatta's cut began to get smaller and smaller until there was just a very tiny cut, probably one fourth of the size it was.

"There," Kurena said with a smile as she wrapped the cut in gauze. "Be more careful next time, o.k.?"

"O.k.," Nyatta replied with a grin, hugging her. "Thank you mommy! I love you!"

Kurena smiled and hugged back. "I love you too, Nyatta."
