From the Pen of Nanael
1.3
Eámanë stared at the dark elven that walked besides him, She only asked for the smitty for a long sword and a couple of daggers. To the tailor she asked for a linen dress with legs openings in both sides, boots, a nice black riffled blouse to wear under her dress. As a special gift the innkeeper gave her quartz glasses as a present, so the sunlight wouldn't hurt her eyes.
He always prefered warm clothes, and choosed a long sword, a short sword and a bow with a bundle of arrows. When he picked the arrows, Ireth made a scorning sound that resembled a laugh.
Now they were walking towards the Black forest, an elven village, according to the fishers.
-Any chance ot telling me about you?- he asked Ireth
-Took you long enough to ask- She stopped for a moment to look at him -Fine, but you must promise to keep it to yourself, a word of this and he will hunt you down-
-He?-
-My Master.- She took a deep breath before comencing her story - My Master is ancient, one of the first to go down the earth during the Separation of Races.
But he found the rituals for the newly found God of Death and War, repulsive, barbaric at least. He kept himself faithful to the Earth, a drow is a drow, and so he enjoyed a good hunt, so to speak. But still he never desired for a priestess of darkness, and he was getting too powerful to submit to them. After a few centuries later he begged the Earth for a recipient of his knowledge, and She granted him his wish, but Death and War wanted a sacrifice to let this happen. Only at that time Master joined others for the hunts and raids in the surface, and he claimed Ireth Faelivrin to himself, he took her that night and after I was borned, she never woke up again, death claimed her. Earth is my mother.- She concluded her story at the entrace of the forest.
-Also the Death and War- commented Eámanë
-No, Earth claimed me, that is why he demanded the sacrifice-
-That's terrible! The darkness and cruelty of the drows is...- he stopped in the middle sentence, an arrow was shoot at his feet as a warning.
-Halt! The slaves trader arrived two days ago! Identify yourself!-
-I'm Eámanë Aegnor, I'm here looking for news of Findenst.- he replied firmly as he stepped infront of Ireth.
-Is that your slave?- Ireth's eyes sharpened at the question of the guard who finally showed himself. A slightly tanned, brunette elf, as tal as Eámanë, and well built, with green eyes. He pointed at Ireth with his bow. -She doesn't behave as a slave, bbut then again, drows never do behave- he slapped at her with the back of his hand. Eámanë didn't moved, and Ireth only stared at him while placing back her glasses over her nose. The forest elf observed both of their reactions, and aproved.
-Go straight ahead until you find the arch of stone and wood, you can find your news there.-
