And you'll never guess how. I was at Study Hall, listening to my iPod, which happened to be on the Thriller (freakin' best song EVER). So I stopped studying for a bit, and I thought about the rhyme scheme, which is actually really good. Then I just got this idea and in five minutes, here's what I got:
I am the essence of the night,
The very horror and the fright,
An icy fear your soul unclenched,
Every light hope and thought is quenched.
For if you dare to wake or waver,
Or stay a little minute later,
To steal into the death of day,
Mine by right and mine by say,
Your soul and body cast away,
For mine is a weak and weary way,
Meant for only Soul and Mind,
For what other way do we define,
The eternal darkness that is mine?
