Ever wonder how things would be if you weren't there? Your home, how do you imagine it being on your days out? A home after all is just a place, lifeless and cold. Many describe homes being places filled with warmth and happiness. Of course, most aren't even aware that's only possible for something living to dwell within them.
Without us our buildings cool, our beds become no more than just a few pieces of fabric and a metal frame. In previous journal entries I've mentioned that towns are made by the people within them. The same can be said about any specific place, essentially how those view and treat their lives. When we are surrounded by others and get the supposed feeling of happiness. It's easy to take it all for granted.
You don't think about your living structure growing cold and dull without you. You only really concern yourself with the joy you'll find there later. Most don't even usually question it. They don't ever dwell on the possibility that they aren't even really happy. Or they even know what true happiness feels like. Do we ever truly feel an emotion? Or is the sense of finding proper comfort, food, and social surroundings just feel us with a sense of contempt which we assume as happiness? Does our base will to survive just give us another hormone so we keep on living?
But on the other spectrum of viewing things. Perhaps that's just an apathetic approach to life? "It's not going well for you. So happiness isn't real, and we're only hormonal creatures." But then again, that hint of reasoning we conjour up is simply our survival instincts delivering another set of chemical reactions to continue our existance.
But let's not dive to deep into thought. It's a never ending cycle and we'll never truly know the answer. But simply the one we think is right, hope is right.
Just think for a while, how would things be without any one around? Keeping this short, Happy upcoming holidays~ :/
