Myths and Legends of Planet Mytherda

Prologue
It all started in the year 2555 on a peaceful and beautiful planet named Mytherda, which space travellers call "Story-Earth" or "Fairy Tale-Planet", since majority of it's inhabitants can only be found in fairy tales or science-fiction books.
Even though the planet had a bunch of more or less large islands it only had two main continents.
One of which was occupied by dragons and the other by dinosaurs.
The one that belonged to dragons was named Pterignis and the dinosaurs' continent was named Danozur.
Dragons lived mostly in the mountains, caves, old castles.
The largest of dinosaurs inhabited the plains, the rest lived all across the continent in the mountains, forests, rivers, lakes, seas and so on.
Most of the dragons could fly and so did some of the species of dinosaurs just like a large amount of dragons could swim along with dinosaurs.
And even tho they didn't live on same continents they still encountered one another, mostly in the air or water, but they didn't attack.
Doubtful that it could be called friendship, more like tolerance.
Humans lived on both continents in five main cities that they built and which were guarded either by dragon or dinosaur Guardians that were specifically bred for it.
From dinosaurs most preferred were a type of Sauropods, most common one was Granliafsaurus (similar to Brachiosaurus or Diplodocus with few minor differences) for their long necks and good eyesight since they could see the adversary from far away and warn the city and their long powerful tails were feared weapons.
From dragons however the favored ones were Vorgans, (a certain breed of "underground" dragons which even having wings, moved on the ground) because of their greater speed and a special way to exhale fire.
Vorgans don't breathe fire, they rather spit out fireballs, thus earned them their nickname "Living-cannons".
Alphaterians (small bird like dragons that can stay in the air for long amount of time even in the same spot, also have superior eyesight than even earth falcons/eagles) were used either as scouts or watchers.
Along with dragons humans and dinosaurs there were griffins, greifs (the difference will be explained later), hippogrifs, homfels, aerfels, dwarves, elves, harpies, witches, warlocks, wizards, enchanters, magicians, mages, gonlins, trolls and many more "individuals" living all on the same and somewhat small planet.
It's easy to understand that not all of them were getting along tho.
One of those little quarrels lead to a war that lasted for 25 years and took many innocent lives. The war started "thanks" to two rivaling races and lasted for so long, due the inconcern of others and pride of both sides.
The course of actions was significantly changed by four young and entirely different creatures who formed an unlikely alliance and friendship.
