I had last night off for a video games tournament at my college. It was a blast. There weren't a whole lot of people that actually entered the tourney, but it was awesome watching all of these people play together. Someone even brought in RockBand! I got to play it and it was so cool! I like the guitar and drums. Vocals, well, if I know the song then sure. And guess what? It's coming out for the PS2 on December 21st!!
The only down side to last night was the fact that my cold kicked it up a notch. I was coughing so bad last night that I now have a really sore throat and sore stomach muscles. It's better today, but my mom said that if it's not better by the middle of next week, I may have to see a doctor to see if I have bronchitis. Not fun...
Then this morning, I go into work to grab my check and head for the bank. I go through all of the checks and find that I have two. I took both, thinking that they miscalculated and owed me maybe $20 or something. I opened my regular check and found $181.33 for regular pay for last week. Since I'd missed one and a half days of work from being sick, I expected it to be about that much. When I opened the second check, I found $193.31! I looked at the stub and all it said on the side was VAC. So I got $375 this week! eek I put all but $100 in the bank. The cash I kept out is going for Christmas gifts this week. I'm going to try and not touch the money in the bank as much as possible. I'm so frickin' excited!!!! I got extra money!!!
