love is like a maze of lead
you get wound and tangled in its web
creeping widow awaits around the corner
where the quickest path lies is no honor
if you take the path ahead
you know you'll get hurt instead
once the corner of hurt has passed
you will reach your love at last
there is another path you can take
and avoid that love which is fake
slow and steady wins the race
but every person sets their pace
if you feel that you can wait
in due time you'll meet good fate
left of right fast or slow
either way you'll never know
